Hey there! I’m Calesia [Cuh-LEE-shuh], the creative force behind Party Designs by Calesia and a full-time middle school band/orchestra teacher with a passion for bringing celebrations to life with luxury balloon decor. I’m a Joliet native (Chicagoland area - GO CUBS), but I’ve called the QC home for 19 years!

I’ve always loved decorating for special occasions, but when I became a mom in 2018, birthdays became a big deal. I wanted every celebration to feel special and create lasting memories. Then, when the world hit pause during COVID, I found myself searching for a way to keep the joy alive, even in uncertain times. That’s when I stumbled upon balloon decor through the power of YouTube. What started as a simple attempt to make my son’s 1st birthday extra special quickly turned into an obsession. I spent hours watching tutorials, practicing designs, and experimenting with different techniques. Before I knew it, I was filling my home with balloon creations—and loving every second of it!

Fast forward to 2021, I’ve poured my heart, soul (and plenty of time and money!) into mastering this craft. Now, I specialize in luxury organic balloon decor and handmade light-up marquees that make every event stand out. I use only professional-grade, biodegradable balloons because I believe in creating beautiful designs while keeping sustainability in mind.

Whether it’s a birthday, wedding, corporate event, or any special occasion, I love working with my clients to bring their vision to life. The Quad Cities community has embraced my passion, and I’m so grateful to be part of so many special
celebrations.
